Self-Catered Villas
Villa del Lago offers 1-bedroom suites and 2- to 3-bedroom villas on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen with cookware and utensils, a washer and dryer, and a living and dining area. Bathrooms include underfloor heating and heated towel rails. Some units have a balcony or terrace with lake and mountain views. All villas are accessed by stairs (no lift). Most fireplaces are out of order due to ongoing replacements expected until Q2 2027.
Kitchen
No restaurant is on site. Each villa's kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Nearby grocery stores include New World Frankton. Queenstown city center, a 5-minute drive away, has many restaurants and cafes.
Private Beach and Views
The property has a private pebbled beach with a jetty on Lake Wakatipu. Guests can use the terrace and outdoor furniture. The lakeside walking track connects to Queenstown (25 minutes on foot), but the Frankton section is closed for works until Q2 2027.
Location
Villa del Lago is a 5-minute drive from Queenstown city center and an 8-minute drive from the airport. Free parking is on site. The entrance has a steep driveway, which can be challenging for large vehicles. Ubers are readily available.
